Kevin John Pocock

The 4th annual conference of international cities

Where and how do we want to live? Kevin John Pocock is primarily concerned with human movement between built and natural landscapes – both physically and in our imagination. His pieces draw on thoughts, dreams, memories and experiences as interlocking visuals that influence one another as we are constantly in a state of flux. Pocock is interested in the effect different environments have on our psyche, and how we feel and respond to them, both knowingly and unknowingly. Pocock’s practice includes painting, drawing, prints and digital, having originally studied architecture at Cambridge University. He is a John Moores exhibitor.
