Chinese costume designer Kaiqi Zhang is based in the UK, where she gained a BA from UAL. Historic references and costumes from Asia and Europe inspire her innovative designs. Her unique personal style is then achieved through a specific combination of different techniques and fabrics. The work shown here is Actor, a character in Zhang’s play which is based upon Camus’ essay The Myth of Sisyphus.
