Interested in the relationship between nature and artificial constructions, Juan Carlos Zaldivar explores at the questions often triggered about humanity. Shifting Nature Pods looks at the dialogue between these two elements – organic and manufactured – prompting further questions about identity, history, human impact, transculturalism and wider social acceptance. Zaldivar is a Sundance Film Institute alumnus, and is part of the Venice Biennale Cinema College.
