Interested in expressing philosophical messages concerned with subconscious sensibilities, Joo-kwan Song explores the physics of time and linguistic potential. Bringing imaginary landscapes to life, the work deals with the perceptive process before we recognise ourselves and our surroundings clearly. Recognitive neurons are activated one-by-one whilst past memories and knowledge work with the new information in the background. This process can be done very fast – and unconsciously.
