Milk Fever
Jesse May Fisher explores the female body as a site of pathology, abjection, seduction and healing, sublimating histories of trauma and oppression through images of ecstasy and sensuality. She utilises the modes of moving image, photography and text to continuously enquire into the body and its thresholds – both internal and external. Fisher has exhibited widely with the Saatchi Gallery, Moving Image Artists and SISSI Club, and has been published in Swarm, Dazed, Hunger, Sabat and Suspiria. She is also a part of Artemisia, an artists’ collective whose work intersects within mythology, ritual, healing and embodied feminine knowledge.
