Jae young Park

Jae young Park’s Woolscape – Warm Gaze depicts the process of drawing woven cloths – strand by strand. Viewers can look at the repetitive process and read into the structures of modern society; we are all just a part of a larger collective. The way the strands are unwoven or tied together, embracing each other, is also suggestive of our life in society. The repeated action of the lines makes viewers think about the passage of time.
