Hugo Harris’ practice is a continual experimentation of ways in which we can depict the weight of the human body. In particular, Harris considers how subtle alterations of pose and position can manipulate and displace parts of muscle and flesh. Focusing on portions of the body that display this pressure or movement of mass has resulted in an ongoing series of fragmented figures.
