Hazel Allan is a BAFTA scholar and Aesthetica’s 2020 Fiction winner in the Creative Writing Award. She submitted her true story Daft Cow which highlighted the isolation people can feel during the Christmas period. Her gig at the Edinburgh International Book Festival sold out. Allan regularly visits schools to inspire writers. She is currently working on adapting her children’s book into something for the screen.
