Waldweg im Herbst
Hagar Elazari is driven by an interest in how people experience a given artwork. Working mostly with installation and objects, she tends to return to the same media: namely code, electronics and light. Her passion for new technologies propels her drive to learn and incorporate new ways of experimenting constantly – where art is in a state of flux, ruminating around similar concepts from many different angles. Some of her key influences include Random International, James Turrell and Olafur Eliasson. She feels, however, that her work differs in the purpose of creating something more craft-based, tapping into the materiality of human expression.
