Jones was shortlisted in 2020 for the Aesthetica Creative Writing Award for her fiction Something Like Drowning. Jones also won the Northern Debut Award in 2020. She has been nominated for accolades including the Pushcart Prize and Best Small Fictions. Her first novella-in-flash Among these Animals launched in 2021 and has been shortlisted in this year’s Saboteur Awards. Jones is the founder of the Story For Daniel competition.
