The writer was shortlisted in 2018 for the Aesthetica Creative Writing Award for her story Ambit. In 2019 she achieved 2nd place in the Charroux Memoir Poetry Prize and 3rd place in the Fish Publishing Flash Fiction Prize. In 2020 she was part of the Scottish Arts Trust Story Awards and was placed 3rd for Hunger Point. She also achieved 1st place in the Writers Bureau 2020 Flash Fiction Prize.
