G Roland Biermann’s preoccupation is to find a visual equivalent to the experiences of movement, mobility, change and transformation in society. The artist often combines photography, film, sculpture and installation to create new hybrid forms. The featured work, white cube/white wall is a trilogy exploring the relationship between freedom of movement and man-made borders.
