Felipe Castelblanco

Felipe Castelblanco works at the intersection of social engagement and media art. Their work is participatory – enabling encounters between unlikely audiences. Driftless highlights the concept of nationhood as a form of contemporary confinement. Simultaneously, it looks at the ocean as a public site for artistic intervention. The film’s fictional journey touches upon today’s migration crisis.
