Eric Forman

Dis/Connect

Forman works at the intersections of fine art, design, architecture and technology. His work uses playful interaction to explore language, simulation, and perception, in a nearly 20-year long investigation of the uncertain present of human and technological co-evolution. Dis/Connect is an illegal sculpture that confronts pervasive connectivity. It revises the near-archaic signifying formality of the traditional chandelier, instead delineating an area of mutual disconnection.
