Emilie Pugh

In Cloud Root Pugh has worked with 30 layers of incense burnt rice paper to convey a sense of shifting forms in space and to challenge the idea of an anchored static moment. The artist’s drawings are part of an introspective journey, a mapping of an internal landscape: tracing contours, following pathways and feeling around an unfolding thought.
