Emilie Crewe’s projects often take the form of single- and multi-channel video and installation. The Art of Fugue features five women working in trade industries. The artwork is a chorus of female performers telling stories through the repetitive actions and movements of skilled work. Each screen acts as a singular voice contributing to a wider collective whole.
