Different Tendencies: Italian Design 1960 – 1980.
Duyi Han is an artist and designer who creates digital and physical environments that call upon objects and perception to immerse viewers in the manifestation of beauty. His work is based on extensive research on the evolution process of aesthetics, with a focus on the “ingredients of beauty” as they relate to society, culture, history, geography and biology. Han’s experimental practice operates beyond the limitation of fixed style and time periods, creating poetic and moving work that is able to respond to diverse spatial and cultural contexts. As an artist, Han considers what human beings are compelled by, and what they find appealing, on an innate level.
