Vivarium
With Vivarium, Dirk Hardy welcomes us to a multitude of worlds. This ongoing project started in 2018 and currently consists of seven dioramas, that Hardy calls Episodes. Each Episode deals with a different theme and acts as a portal, inviting the viewer to travel off to the depicted world. The works unfold a modest stage that invites collective reflection and dialogue to increase our social sensitivity. Through Vivarium’s constructed tableaus Hardy explores the complexity and diversity of our zeitgeist.
