The short story What Happens At The Edge had Sanders win the Aesthetica Creative Writing Award in 2016. In 2017 she came 3^rd in the Bare Fiction Prize for Flash Fiction. She received funding from the Arts Council England for her project Write the Map which uses unusual places to inspire writing and drawing. Sanders is currently working on a novel and will be involved in the Bristol Literature Festival.
