Netherlands-based Charly Meyer started out in the early 1970s as a freelance photographer. Almost three decades of image-making led him through retail, commercial and editorial. After his wide-ranging career he went to pursue his creative curiosity. He sees the evolution of photography as a source of endless possibility, as can be seen in his current artwork. Forest, Fields & Sea is a collection of digital artworks that draw from the material complexities of nature – inspired by the colours and shapes of organic landscapes. All artworks take a single image as a starting point, and create a larger narrative through the acts of post-production processes.
