Pultzer Prize nominee Charles Fishaman won the Aesthetica Creative Writing Award for poetry in 2014 with Snow is the Poem Without Flags. He was part of a collaboration for the book Veils, Halos & Shackles which features international poetry about oppression and empowerment of women. His 2018 book In the Wake of the Glacier is a collection of his old and new poetry.
