The series Vignettes of a Salesman by Ole Marius Jørgensen – on show at In The Gallery, Copenhagen – tracks the fictional and nostalgic journey of a lone wanderer. Inhabiting staged scenarios, the lone figure traverses deserted  diners, motels and petrol stations in search of an unknown destination. A cinematic use of colour and light reflect the photographer’s background in film, crafting dreamlike backdrops for intriguing narratives.

The photographer is featured in Aesthetica Issue 83, which showcases the collections Behind the Curtains and Vignettes of a Salesman. Looking to the inner and outer landscapes of individuals, the works use empty topographies as spectres of unidentifiable emotions.
