Launched in 2008, The Manchester Contemporary is committed to encouraging a market for contemporary art from the North. It provides an opportunity for audiences to access high calibre contemporary art by exhibiting international artists alongside those that are new and emerging. Open this weekend, the fair uses bold curatorial visions to offer works from critically engaged artists, as they embark into an international network from a localised region.
