Reshaping our understanding of industrial landscapes, David Maisel’s Atlas at Yancey Richardson Gallery, New York, comprises aerial images taken above the Great Salt Lake, Utah; Owens Lake, California; the Rocky Mountains and La Mancha, Spain. The works demonstrate the physical impact of human activities including mining, logging, urban sprawl, and military testing.
