Dynamic Observations

Dynamic Observations

Chronicling New York’s street life during the mid-20th century, Helen Levitt’s (1913-2009) expansive observations of the Lower East Side, Bronx and Harlem offer an honest and dynamic portrait of life.

A retrospective at Albertina, Vienna, highlights 130 works from throughout her career – from Surrealist-inspired pieces to early New Colour Photography.

The exhibition runs until 27 January. Find out more here.
