Our Art Prize is a celebration of innovation in contemporary art, showcasing work across a range of media. It offers artists a platform for exposure and development, including exhibition at a major public gallery and a £10,000 prize. The award champions some of the most significant and thought-provoking voices working today, contributing to a global dialogue around the role of art in our time. Each year, shortlisted works explore urgent themes, inviting us to reflect on our world.

The Art Prize is open to works in any genre, and on any theme, however, we are particularly interested in works that reflect upon our ever changing world. We accept entries from artists at all stages of their careers and are looking for pieces that challenge us and redefine the parameters of contemporary art. We celebrate creativity in all its forms and are looking for submissions across multiple media including, Painting & Drawing; Photography; Video & Performance;  Digital Art & Installation; Film & more.

The Aesthetica Art Prize offers artists more than visibility — it’s a launchpad for meaningful career development. The Prize connects practitioners with global audiences, curators, and collectors, including an esteemed jury from leading organisations such as Serpentine, Turner Contemporary, Baltic and V&A. With a £10,000 prize and a legacy of supporting artists whose work goes on to appear in major collections, the Prize elevates voices that are shaping the future of contemporary art and visual culture.

Since 2007, the Art Prize has supported thousands of artists from across the world many of whom have gone on to achieve international acclaim. Alumni have gone on to exhibit at leading institutions such as Tate Modern, MoMA PS1, Barbican, V&A, Foam Amsterdam, Guggenheim, Saatchi Gallery, The Photographers’ Gallery, and Centre Pompidou. Their continued success speaks to the Prize’s role as a vital stepping stone, offering meaningful exposure and lasting impact in the careers of contemporary artists.

The Aesthetica Art Prize is a leading international award for contemporary artists and a powerful platform for your development. By submitting your work, you’ll join a global network of trailblazing artists. We are proud to play a role in bringing artists’ works to audiences, but also ensuring that we support career trajectories by helping to push new commissions, gallery representation and collaborations forward. The Prize is an outlet for ideas, impact and visibility. Submit to win £10,000, exhibition & more.
