Becky Place is originally from London. Her main area of interest is branding and editorial design. The vast majority of her projects have involved working with an idea, workshopping it, developing it and pushing it to its limits. For Place, process is just as important as the end result. She believes that inspiration is around all of the time, but you need to allow it to come in. Ideas come from a number of places, being an avid gamer, Place sees design in a variety of ways. The interactive nature of games influences what she creates for the printed page or a website. Photography is another passion, and working with both images and text, Place develops designs that are multi-layered and interdisciplinary.
