Heather Louise Mottram is an artist who works in mixed media, exploring painting, photography and textiles. Her interest is enforced through a love of fashion. Heather explores textiles and reinterprets the features of objects already in existence, resulting in new associations with textiles other than fashion and clothing. In turn, Heather’s interest in textiles has extended to the natural world, examining naturally formed structures. This has led to a development in nature photography, which is used to show the comparison of manmade and natural textures.
