Israel-based multidisciplinary artist ZYGO enters into an artistic dialogue that lies beyond the academic world and emphasises the importance of opening up to new ways of exploring and defining creativity and representation in visual culture.

Two motifs are central to the work: screws and Swarovski® crystals – they reveal the tension created in a painting between the revealed and the concealed, between hardness and softness, between light and shadow. This three-dimensional kinetic approach enhances the viewer’s experience.
