Taylah Hasaballah is an Australian- Egyptian painter based in Sydney. Her work explores the impact of tempo and rhythm in building an image. These slowed-down formalist deconstructions envision the image as a totem of stillness and calm, suspending reality in a world that is endlessly accelerating.
