USA-based multidisciplinary artist Mike Sweeney has an interest in how language, noise, identity and place shift understanding. After shredding preprinted papers into 1/8-inch strips, he handweaves new sheets of paper before printing multiple iterations of his linocut and dry-point drawings over the newly-patterned colour and disrupted text of the woven paper.
