Ioana Tocoaie is a Romanian painter whose practice is dominated by a fantastical sphere within which the viewer can discover seemingly anatomical deformations and absurd juxtapositions of images or events which represent an illogical detachment from reality. Her compositions have been exhibited in numerous shows and are held in collections in Romania, Germany and Canada.
