Hazel Yizhuo Jiao is an interdisciplinary artist, filmmaker and researcher based in London. Caught between her existence within the “natural” and the “virtual” she explores the digital gaze. Jiao’s practice confronts the prevailing patterns of image consumption in the age of visual abundance, and is inspired by posthumanist and intersectional ecofeminist thoughts.
