Next Generation 2016: Altering Perceptions of the Everyday

Next Generation: Limitless Visions

For the 2016 August/September edition of Aesthetica Magazine, we teamed up with London College of Communication to provide a platform for talented practitioners who, emerging at a time of digital innovation and boundless contemporary methods, demonstrate new and bold ideas for the future of photography.

Included within the feature is the work of Kate Amery, a recent graduate from LCC, who is about to continue her studies at The Royal College of Art. Her photographic practice explores the way in which human beings interact with the natural environment, giving mundane and man-made objects new significance. Through this, the artist challenges stereotypical notions of beauty.
