Rosie Scorer is a photographer, working fundamentally to provide insight into her own experiences through imagery and video. Rosie’s visual narratives serve as manifestations of her circumstances, although they cannot be found as they are not an object or concept which can be stumbled upon. They are instead constructed. The narratives remain a product of inclusion and exclusion of certain emotions and intents, shaping them to be intimate and real. Rosie’s photographs are intended to encourage a dialogue surrounding culture, circumstance, trauma or love, presenting the observer with an opportunity to see, to listen, to understand and to celebrate, subsequently sharing the goodness and compassion that resides instinctively within all of us.
