Daisy Ashworth is an artist, whose work reflects the nostalgia surrounding childhood memories. It is important to her that the images are from her own childhood, therefore reflect her own memories through the process she works. Although this is the case, she aims for the viewer to be reminded of their own childhood, or earlier memories. The materials she uses reflect the home and belonging that coincide with the nostalgia of our past. These include, duvet covers, table clothes, pillowcases, face wipes, post-it notes, thread, wallpaper etc. The viewer is encouraged to review their own childhood and consider the memories that unfold.
