Humans have been drinking alcohol for thousands of years; there is evidence of this in China as early as 7000BC. Igglesden’s project considers the effects alcohol has on our bodies, community, wellbeing and environment. The aim is to expose how we can address associated environmental and sustainability issues at home, such as recycling and reusing. Igglesden has created a visually pleasing product which focuses on ensuring all aspects of the manufacturing process have minimal environmental impact. The project includes constructing a visual identity for a new brand of premium London Dry Gin called Isle of Dogs – with a complex blend of sustainably sourced botanicals. This product has a premium feel proving that recycled doesn’t always have to look substandard.
